The free Core 10 tier supports one list with up to 10 words. Pro raises this to up to 100 lists with up to 50 words each.
The free Core 10 tier limits gameplay and tests to the first 10 words of any list. Lists themselves can hold more words (up to 50), but only the first 10 appear in tests and games unless you upgrade to Pro. Upgrading unlocks all the words you've already added.
From the parent area, open the active list, tap a word, then tap the microphone icon. Your recording stays on your device and is only synced to the cloud if you've enabled Pro Cloud Sync.

Yes — Pro supports up to 6 family members through Apple Family Sharing or Google Play Family Library. Set this up in your device's Family settings before family members install the app.
Open the app, go to Parent Center → Subscription → tap Restore Purchases. This forces a fresh check with the App Store or Play Store. If that doesn't work, email us with your purchase receipt and we'll restore it manually.

For free users, almost nothing — spelling lists, recordings, and progress stay on your device. For Pro users with Cloud Sync enabled, your spelling data syncs across your devices via Firebase. We never share data with advertisers, and there are no ads in the app.

From the Parent Center → Delete All Data. This wipes lists, recordings, profiles, and progress from your device. If you have Pro Cloud Sync enabled, it also deletes your cloud-synced data on the sync server.

Yes. Spelling Stream is designed for children under 13 and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, including the amended rules effective April 22, 2026. We do not collect personal information from children without verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian, do not show ads, and do not share data with advertising networks.
